3G, Forge Service in Gilgit-Baltistan: PM approves plan

Prime Minister Imran Khan approved a plan to immediately launch 3G and 4G broadband services in the region to improve internet service in Gilgit-Baltistan.

According to sources, the Ministry of Information Technology has submitted a plan in this regard to the Prime Minister. Prime Minister Imran Khan approved the plan.

According to sources, internet services in Gilgit-Baltistan will be improved after the auction of licenses. The meeting also agreed to extend the scope of the Universal Service Fund to Gilgit-Baltistan.
