A robot that makes better decisions by talking to itself
Italy: Experts have transformed the robot into a self-talk tool that allows it to better communicate with humans and make better decisions.
The research report, published on April 21, states that if robots’ thinking is heard, they can become more reliable to humans. In this way, the intentions and decisions of the humanoid robot can be known.
Antonio Sheila and his colleagues at the University of Palermo in Italy believe that robots should be able to communicate with ordinary people, not just talk to engineers and scientists. For this, they have chosen a famous helper humanoid robot paper and made it a self-explanatory thinker. Interestingly, you can hear what the robot thinks.
