Apple has introduced the feature of censoring ugly images in Messenger
CALIFORNIA: Apple has introduced the option of blurring nasty images in its messenger in a few countries, which automatically censors the images and has been taken care of especially in children’s messenger.
The feature will soon be available in the UK, Canada, Australia and New Zealand on iOS, iPad OS and Mac OS, but no final date has been announced. Note that this option is only applicable for the company’s messenger.
The scanning and blurring of images will be on the recipient’s device and will have no effect on the sender while encryption from one user to another is ensured in the same way. In this regard, the options under Apple Family Sharing have also been implemented.
These options are specifically for sending and receiving photos to protect children from nasty videos and photos. In the case of Naziba photo, it is said that if anyone wants, he can come out of the conversation and this person can also be blocked.
This option has already been released in the United States and was introduced in August as automatic censorship. In August last year, Apple introduced another option, an algorithm that uses a photo before uploading it to iCloud to determine if the photo is a nasty photo of a child. But it was criticized for some technical reasons.
Apple has also introduced these options in Spotlight, Siri and Safari which do not allow inappropriate content to appear in the search and especially it also takes care of children.
