Apple Introduces iPhone 12 Pro and Pro Max with FiveG, Big Screen and Improved Cameras
Apple has also entered the FiveG era. The four models offered by Apple this year have FiveG’s sub-6 flavor and mmWave technology. Due to the latter, the download speed of the phone can be up to 4 Gbps. This speed is currently only available on Verizon in the United States.
This year’s iPhone Pro models come in two sizes. The size of the iPhone 12 Pro is 6.1 inches and the size of the iPhone Pro Max is 6.7 inches.
In the iPhone 11 series, it was 5.8 and 6.5 inches. Due to the thin bezel, this phone looks a bit too big.
The resolution of the new iPhones is slightly higher than the previous models. The Pro model has a resolution of 1,170 x 2,532 pixels and the Pro Max has a resolution of 1,284 x 2,778 pixels. The maximum brightness of the display is still 1200 nits. To protect the display, Apple has once again partnered with Corning to produce a ceramic shield material for the display, four times better than the previous glass in terms of safety when the phone falls.
