Apple’s first PC-shaped charger
A small Apple Macintosh PC-like charger is becoming popular among consumers, also reminding the elderly of Apple’s first one-color desktop.
The charger, made by a company called Shargig, is named “Retro 35GAN Charger”. It provides a maximum of 35 watts of power output and fills the smartphone very quickly.
One of its key features is that it can charge all kinds of Apple and Android phones. Its high-speed performance is made possible by a special chip called the GAN chip. While the screen keeps showing the charging condition.
It can also be used to power smart devices such as watches, airbuds and other items. In case of non-charging, its screen turns white, yellow in normal charging, blue in fast charging and green in supercharging. On a load of less than five minutes, it turns black.
The invention is currently undergoing crowdfunding, but it has said that worldwide supply of chargers will begin in August or September this year. A charger costs $ 25, or Rs 5,000.
