China’s two state-owned pharmaceutical companies, Synovik and Synoform, have exported their vaccines to 22 countries. These include Pakistan, Mexico, Turkey, Indonesia, Hungary, Brazil and Turkey. Pakistan has started vaccinating a large number of people at the official level. According to Brazilian researchers, the Chinese vaccine is about 50% effective, while the Pfizer Biotech vaccine is 97% effective.
Question mark on Chinese vaccine
China has provided its vaccines to many countries around the world. China appears to have been more effective in its earlier vaccines, while Germany and the United States have been questioning the Pfizer bio-tech vaccine. The ‘Experimental Messenger RNA or MRNA’ method has been used in the development of the Pfizer biotech vaccine. Gao Fu added, “It is now under formal consideration whether we should use different vaccines from different technical lines for immunization.”
