SAN FRANCISCO: Technology experts have revealed that the data of more than 50 million Facebook users has been leaked to the Internet.

According to international media reports, unknown hackers have shared the personal data of more than 533 million Facebook users from 106 countries on the Internet.

Hackers have shared users’ phone numbers, photos and other personal information on the Internet.

Technology experts have expressed concern that hackers could use Facebook users’ names, locations, emails and personal information to create fake accounts to defraud or embarrass users for any reason. Of the users targeted by hackers, 32 million are from the United States, while 10 million Britons and 6 million Indians are also affected.

According to the report, hackers have also released the secret codes and passwords of Facebook users.
