Eco-friendly smartphones are popular even before their production
NEW YORK (Reuters Health) – With the launch of a fundraising campaign for indie google eco-friendly and green smartphones, the project’s fundraiser was completed in just four hours, a huge success.
Since then, work has begun on a prototype of the Terracube 2E. Earlier, the company had also introduced Terracube One. Its battery can be changed frequently. Most phone components are recyclable. Its outer shell also dissolves quickly and is completely biodegradable. The most important thing is that you can repair it yourself if it breaks down.
This time there is a four-year warranty on the purchase of the Terracube Toy, but it will be for specific countries, including Germany, France, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Poland and Singapore. The battery is not part of the phone. These batteries can be replaced frequently and you can purchase additional batteries from the company. A 4000 mAh battery can last up to two days on a single charge. The phone is designed in such a way that you can fix its major problems yourself. The repair training will also be provided by the company itself, meaning that some parts of it may fall off automatically and you may be able to repair it. Another important point is that smartphones are packed in waste-packed plastic and other components, which are not the case with it. The packaging of the Terracube Toy is also half that of other smartphones.
The packing box is made of recycled paper and the name is printed on it with eco-friendly ink. This reduces carbon dioxide emissions and reduces the burden on the environment. The green phone can be charged with any USB charger.
