Environmental journalism workshops, application and methodology
DW Academy is a key German organization working to develop the media internationally. DW Academy is organizing a series of workshops for young journalists from Pakistan, India, Bangladesh and Indonesia. The workshops are part of a project called “Environmental Journalism: Indo-Pacific Rivers, a Source of Life and Conflict,” funded by the German Federal Office for Foreign Affairs. The project aims to assist local media journalists in the professional production of mobile video stories on environmental issues.
Applications for participation in this training program can be submitted in Urdu or English. Complete procedures, rules, application and proposal forms in Urdu or English can be downloaded in the form of PDF files through the links given below this article. There are three PDF files in each of the two languages, respectively (one in English and one in Urdu) based on complete application rules and procedures. Similarly, application and story proposal forms are also available in PDF files in Urdu and English. You can use a single language to submit an application.
However, it should be noted that in case of any ambiguity or dispute, the English version will be considered as the standard for the form, story proposal or rules and regulations. The required documents can be obtained from the “Downloads” location below.
