Find out the freshness of the fruit now with laser plasma
Tokyo: Confirming the freshness of any fruit, from farmer to buyer, is a difficult process. But now the Shaibura Institute of Technology (SIT) in Japan has developed a state-of-the-art system specifically for mango freshness.
This process examines the softness of the fruit without touching and damaging it, which is an important way to measure the freshness of mangoes. Mango, on the other hand, has a hard, raw texture and a softness that indicates its aging.
But it is not easy to measure the softness or hardness of each of the hundreds, thousands of mangoes that go through the packaging. For this, laser and plasma shock waves can be used which can very quickly confirm or deny the freshness of thousands and even millions of fruits.
