Lahore: Mobile and internet services restored
Internet services have been restored in Lahore following talks between the government and the banned Tehreek-e-Libek.
PTA said that internet services were restored at Chowk Orphanage in Lahore on Tuesday. Data services were closed for 10 km around the orphanage square, but now the PTA has lifted the ban on data services.
In Lahore, internet services were down in most areas from Shahdara to Thokar Niaz Baig and from Band Road to Gulberg, while in Mozang, Lytton Road, Chauburji, Jail Road, Mall Road, Rewaz Garden and Data Darbar adjoining areas, both mobile and internet services were affected. Citizens had great difficulty in conducting social media and online affairs.
