New features for Google smartphones
Silicon Valley: Technology giant Google has released two new features for smartphone users.
Google has recently integrated two of its most popular features with the Enterprise app, which includes Google Chat and Rooms. With Google Chat, you can communicate with colleagues, friends and relatives through the Rooms feature. Slightly different, Google Chat can be between two people, while different people can be talked to at the same time in the rooms, now these two features are available on Gmail mobile app.
Follow the instructions below to activate Google Chat on mobile phone.
1. Open Gmail
2. Tap on the three line icon at the back, scroll down and touch Settings
3. Select your account
4. Select General
5. If you are using Android then check the ‘Show the Chat and Rooms tabs’. If you are using an iOS device, toggle on the ‘Show the Chat and Rooms tabs’.
You will now see the Chat and Rooms icon at the bottom of the screen.
