Saudi Arabia: The moon did not appear, Eid will be on Thursday

According to the decision of the Ruwit Hilal Committee (Supreme Court) of Saudi Arabia, the moon of Shawwal has not been seen, so Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated in the Gulf countries on Thursday, May 13.

According to Arab media reports, members of the government committee and astronomers met in Saudi Arabia to observe the month of Shawwal on the 29th day of Ramadan.

The committee did not receive any evidence of moon sightings from across the country, after which it was officially announced that there would be no sighting of the moon at 7:15 a.m. local time.

In all Arab countries, including Saudi Arabia, the thirtieth day of fasting will be observed tomorrow and Eid al-Fitr will be celebrated on Thursday, May 13.
