Saudi Arabia thwarts eight drone strikes by Houthi rebels
Riyadh: Arab coalition forces thwarted eight drone strikes by Houthi rebels on Saudi Arabia.
Arab coalition forces have thwarted eight drone strikes by Houthi rebels on Saudi Arabia in the past 24 hours, with two drone strikes targeting the Saudi cities of Jazan and Khamis this morning, but only in the air. No casualties were reported in the attacks.
According to Arab coalition spokesman General Turki al-Maliki, Houthi rebels on Friday carried out six drone strikes on the Saudi city of Khamis Mushait, which were destroyed in mid-air. He said Houthi rebels were deliberately targeting civilians, but that coalition forces were on full alert to protect civilians.
On the other hand, the recent drone strikes on Saudi Arabia by Houthi rebels have been strongly condemned by the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Egypt, Jordan and Kuwait, all countries have fully supported Saudi Arabia in the fight against Houthi rebels. ۔
