Currently, it takes more than nine hours to fly from Los Angeles to Tokyo on a commercial plane. However, Florida-based supersonic jet firm Erwin says it will build a plane that can travel nine hours in two and a half hours by the end of this decade.
The ship will initially have a capacity of 50 passengers. Technology will be used to make this ship environmentally friendly.
“We want to build a ship that can take passengers anywhere in the world in three hours,” said Tom Voice, Aaron’s chairman, president and CEO.
“We want to revolutionize global transport with the help of technology, but it will take time and a lot of capital,” he said.
