The evolution of the printing press

Printing, that is, making many copies of written material, was a very old dream of man. In China, around 1040, letters were made from clay using the ‘mobile type’ method, which was used to print words in the style of a seal. The idea was not popular in the Eastern world, but four centuries later, using the same idea, Johannes Gutenberg, a craftsman from Mainz, Germany, set up shop. This printing press is considered to be the center of the European Revolution. Gutenberg’s printing press used the screw press method. This method was so effective that it lasted almost three and a half centuries.

And the demand of the printing press was such that inventors and engineers used new methods to innovate it. The evolution of music.
