The fish got stuck in the hunter’s throat
A 24-year-old man died after a 7-inch-long live fish got stuck in his throat in the town of PVJ, Colombia.
According to media reports, the 24-year-old fisherman was given medical treatment immediately after the incident, which saved his life.
According to media reports, the fisherman went fishing on January 23 and when he managed to catch the fish, he tried to remove the fishing hook but noticed that another fish was pulling the hook.
The fisherman clung to the hook to catch the second fish, pressed the fish in the hook into his mouth and began to catch the other fish, but the fish slipped and got stuck in his throat. The fisherman was fortunate that the fish caught in the throat belonged to the Mojara breed, which is known for its suppressed body, which is why the fish did not have difficulty breathing.
According to media reports, the fisherman allegedly reached the hospital on his own but was unable to tell the doctors what had happened to him due to the pain and he kept pointing at his throat on which the doctors could understand the real problem after X-ray.
The fish was later removed from the fisherman’s throat as a matter of urgency and the patient returned home after 2 days in hospital.
