New Delhi: A leopard in India was electrocuted while climbing a power transformer.

According to Indian media reports, a leopard who climbed on a power transformer to escape a fire in a farmhouse in Raisen district of Madhya Pradesh was killed.

According to Forest Department officer Ajay Kumar Pandey, the incident took place outside Bawalia Pathar village on Friday.

He said a leopard from the forest had entered an agricultural field in search of food, but to avoid a fire in the dry bushes, he jumped on a nearby power transformer and was electrocuted. Done.

According to a forest department official, a wildlife team rushed to the spot as soon as the incident was reported and doctors conducted an autopsy on the leopard and disposed of the body as per the guidelines of the National Tiger Conservation Authority.

He said there were no signs of wounds on the leopard’s body and all parts of its body were intact, while three to four leopards were seen moving on the hills near the village.
